min visit
This striking white modernist arena on Montjuïc hosted Olympic events in 1992 and remains one of Barcelona's premier indoor venues, hosting everything from basketball and concerts to political rallies. Its distinctive shell-shaped roof design by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki has made it an architectural landmark, while the open plaza surrounding it offers spectacular city views and breathing room to appreciate the bold structure. Beyond the events themselves, the guided tours let you walk the hallways where Olympic champions once prepared and peek into the locker rooms of Barcelona's beloved basketball team.
