Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain)

This lush, forested peninsula rising dramatically from Da Nang Bay offers sweeping coastal views and encounters with native golden-headed langurs in their natural habitat. The winding mountain road climbs through dense jungle vegetation to a pagoda-crowned summit where you can spot monkeys among the canopy and gaze across the South China Sea. It's one of Vietnam's few remaining pristine ecosystems, protected as a nature reserve where the soundtrack is birdsong rather than traffic.
