Ein Gedi is a lush oasis nestled along the Dead Sea's western shore, where natural freshwater springs create a verdant sanctuary teeming with wildlife in an otherwise arid landscape. The reserve offers several hiking trails of varying difficulty that lead past cascading waterfalls, emerald pools, and ancient archaeological remains dating back thousands of years. This is one of the few places where desert meets water spectacularly, attracting ibex, gazelles, and numerous bird species.
