This picturesque archipelago just off the Dalmatian coast offers a peaceful escape from Dubrovnik's crowded streets, with three main islands—Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan—connected by scenic ferry routes and dotted with quiet villages, hidden beaches, and centuries-old ruins. Each island reveals its own character: Lopud captivates with its car-free charm and Renaissance villas, while Šipan impresses with its lush vineyards and aristocratic estates overlooking crystalline waters. The islands feel suspended in time, where olive groves meet azure horizons and locals still tend their gardens much as their ancestors did.
