The Mittens
The iconic twin buttes that define Monument Valley's silhouette, best viewed from the scenic drive loop or Forrest Gump Point. These massive sandstone formations rise 1,000+ feet and are among the most photographed landmarks in the American Southwest.

Wildcat Trail
A moderate 3.2-mile loop trail offering ground-level perspectives of The Mittens and Merrick Butte, with stunning desert vistas and the chance to experience the landscape up close. This is one of the few hiking options accessible to general visitors in the park.
